How to reorder PDF pages
- Press “Select PDF file” and choose the PDF. Page previews appear in order.
- Drag a page onto the page whose place it should take, or press the earlier and later arrows to move it one step.
- When the order on screen is right, press “Save in this order”. A new PDF downloads.
When it helps
Use it when a double-sided document was scanned as fronts and backs and the pages are mixed up, when the sections of a slide deck should change places, or when the application form must come first in a bundle. You do not need the original Word or PowerPoint file. The order is fixed directly in the PDF.
The number under each preview is its page number in the original. It does not change when you move the page, so you always know what went where.
Same content, new order
Pages are moved as they are, not turned into pictures, so text stays selectable and searchable and quality is unchanged. The result is named after the original with -reordered added, so the original is never overwritten.
Everything happens on your device, so company reports and personal papers do not pass through an outside server. To arrange pages from several files, first combine them with Merge PDF and then reorder the result here.
When fronts and backs were scanned separately
Scanning all fronts first and all backs afterwards puts pages 2, 4, 6 after pages 1, 3, 5. Drag the first back page to sit after page 1 and slot the others in the same way. For short documents this is quicker than scanning again. If you slip, the original page number under each preview shows where a page came from.
Good to know
- Thumbnails are drawn for the first 300 pages.
- On a phone, use the arrow buttons instead of dragging.
- Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened, and bookmarks and form fields are not carried into the new file.

Can I delete pages while reordering?
This tool only changes the order. Remove pages with Delete PDF pages first, then reorder.
Does reordering change the quality?
No. Pages are moved as they are and not compressed again.
